Museum Of Childhood at Bethnal Green

Museum

This branch of the Victoria&Albert Museum has, since 1872, delighted children with one of the best collections of toys, teddy bears, dolls, games and puppets in the world. The museum is home to the national collection of children's costume and the upper gallery is devoted to the theme of childhood through the ages. The doll's houses are a big favourite with kids of all ages as there are around 46 houses lined in two streets which range from tiny home made houses to 15 room Victorian mansions. Every Saturday there are art workshops for children. Phone for details.
